Well, winter is upon us, and
we need to keep that blood flowing! I put together a full body
workout here using basic splits that will keep that winter chill out
and work on every muscle in the body.
I'm doing this routine three
times a week for a period of two weeks using moderate weights. If
this seems a little light go with heavier weight. Go for a two week
cycle where every two weeks you increase the weight for each rep.
Monday- Shoulders and Legs
Workout
Leg curls- 3 sets of 10
Squats- 5 sets of 12
Calf raises- 3 sets of 12
DB side laterals- 2 sets of
12
DB bent over raises- 2 sets
of 12
Seated DB military press- 4
sets of 8
Wednesday- Traps, Biceps,
and Chest Workout
Incline DB press- 4 sets of
10
Cable crossovers- 3 sets of
12
Flat DB press- 4 sets of 8
EZ bar curls- 4 sets of 8
DB shruhgs- 3 sets of 12
Alternating hammer curls- 2
sets of 8 per arm
Friday- Triceps and Back
Workout
Lat pulldowns- 4 sets of 8
Deadlifts- 5 sets of 10
Skullcrushers- 4 sets of 8
Bent over EZ bar rows- 3
sets of 10
Rope pushdowns- 2 sets of 12
It's a great muscle
blasting full body workout for these cold winter months.
